In 2022, Louisiana established the Computer Science Education Advisory Commission (CSEAC) so that the state board of education can draw up and implement a plan of action to deliver computer science education to all of its public schools.
As of this writing, official standards have not been adopted just yet.

Louisiana does not yet require high schools to offer computer science.
State laws indicate that AP Computer Science A may count towards graduation.
The state allows teachers with existing licensure to acquire computer science accreditation through the Praxis exam.
