This is the introductory class to learn how to play Minecraft. This class is introductory and is appropriate for anyone who has never played Minecraft. Its target audience is for young kids at the elementary and possibly early middle school level but anyone who wishes to learn how to play Minecraft can take this course.
Students will be able to create basic games in Minecraft, build bases, explore the farming and trading system of the game, and tackle various modes of Minecraft.
Nurtures spatial awareness and design thinking as students plan and construct structures, landscapes, and other virtual creations within Minecraft's vast environment.
Fosters collaboration and teamwork as students engage in multiplayer gameplay, working together to solve challenges, build structures, and explore the virtual environment.
