South Dakota does not yet have requirements to have high schools offer computer science. In South Dakota, a state-approved computer science course may count towards graduation as a science credit under various conditions.
South Dakota teachers with existing licensure may obtain a computer science endorsement by passing the Praxis exam or with coursework.
